Vientiane-Saravane-Champasack

Meet on arrival at WIA or FB then transfer to hotel. Then city tour: visit Vat Sisaket, Ho Prakeo (Emerald Buddha Temple), That Luang Stupa (the Great Stupa), Patuxay (Victory Gate).

Day 2: Saravane

Overland route to Saravane province. On the way a short detour to visit Thakek City and its beautiful and well preserved French architecture. Arrive late afternoon at Tad Lo.

Day 3: Tad Lo

Elephant ridding or short trek in the villages for 2 hours and discovering way of life of the villagers. Visit Tad Lo then en route to Pakse along the route of coffee (la Route du café). On the way short visit of some coffee plantations. Arrive late afternoon at Pakse .

Day 4: Wat Phou

Overland to Champassak City and visit Vat Phu Temple, a wonder archeological site of Khmer civilization dated of the 6^th century. En route to Khong Island, also called the “ Land of the four thousand islands.”

Day 5: Giant Waterfall “Li Phi”

Transfer to boat landing then downstream to Ban Khone to visit the remains of French period, Li Phi waterfall or “ the Corridor of the Devil”. Then Upstream to Nakasang, a fishery village and en route to visit Khone Phapheng waterfall, the biggest waterfall in the South East Asia, it is the impressive sight. Then overland route back to Pakse by the road no 20. Arrive late at Pakse.

Day 6: Departure

Overland route to Pakse City. Then transfer to Vang Tao-Chong Mek, Lao-Thai border check point for departure.
