That Luang Festival

Meet at WIA or FB and transfer to hotel and Lunch in down town restaurant then visit Vat Sisaket, Ho Prakeo, Vat Xieng Khuane. Diner and Accommodation.

Day 2: That Luang Procession

Breakfast at the hotel and visit the exhibition fair at That Luang ground then lunch in down town restaurant and amazing the procession of Pasad Pheung or “Palace of wax,” from Vat Simuong to Vat That Luang: a very colorful gathering of Lao people in their traditional costume attending the ceremony. Return to hotel, diner then revisit That Luang illuminated and good night !!

Day 3: Vientiane/Luangprabang

Wake up early morning to attend the great ceremony of almsgiving where Lao people of all social class, from the high official authorities to the simple citizen, join the ceremony in their traditional costume: a very significant event for each and a very colorful gathering. Return to hotel then transfer to domestic airport and take off to Luang Prabang. Arrive in Luangprabang and transfer to hotel then visit the city: Vat Vixoun, Vat Xieng Thong, and up to Phousy Hill for overlooking the city.

Day 4: Luangprabang

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to boat landing then upstream to Tham Ting Cave. On the way, short stop at Ban Sang Hai to visit the traditional lao alcohol distillery. Picnic lunch at Pak Ou and overland route back to Luang Prabang to visit Ban Phanom, the weaving village.

Day 5: Vientiane

Breakfast then visit the former Royal Palace convert in National Museum. Transfer to airport and take off to Vientiane. Arrive in Vientiane, free time at leisure. Lunch and dinner at your convenience. Good night!

Day 6: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to WIA or FB for departure.
