Traditional Lao Wedding in Luangprabang
Duration: 7 Days/6 Nights

Day 1: Vientiane
Meet
on arrival at Wattay Int'l Airport (WIA) or Friendship Bridge (FB) then
visit the
religious temples in the city: Lao pagodas such as; Wat Sisaket, Ho Prakeo,
ThatLuang Stupa and hand weaving village at Ban NongBuathong.
Day 2: Luangprabang
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to domestic airport to take off to LuangPrabang. Transfer to hotel and later in the afternoon, bride and groom have to prepare themselves for the big day coming.
Day 3: Wedding Day
Breakfast
then the bride and groom will be dressed-up in Lao traditional clothes.
Groom will be armed with sword and carried a pouch holding flowers
and lighted candles in the hands while the bride is dressing up with silk
long shirt and her hair will be bunned and tied with gold and jewlery. Then
Hai Keu "it is a groom with friends and family that taking the groom to
marry his bride" will start just outside the hotel with singing and dancing
together with drum marching to the hotel. All Traditional ceremony will last
for about 1 hr and then lunch with Lamvong thereafter.
Day 4: Luangprabang
Breakfast and then city tour. Visit the former royal temples such as Wat Visoun where one can see the biggest Buddha statue in Laos and many ancient wooden and bronze Buddha images that collected from the ruin of temples in the north of Laos. Wat Xiengthong the most beautiful temple in Laos and then That Chomsi to overlooking the city of LuangPrabang.
Day 5: Luangprabang
Vist National Museum and continue by boat tour on the Mekong River to see and taste Lao Alcohol distillation at Ban Sang Hai and the holy cave "Tam Ting" Picnic lunch at PakOu and return to LuangPrabang. Visit the weaving village at Ban Phanom and Wat Phone Phao.
Day 6: Vientiane
Excursion by car to visit Nam ThaPaen, an ethic village and That KwangSi waterfall where a picnic lunch will be served. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for a flight back to Vientiane. Arrive in Vientiane and transfer to hotel. Free time at leisure. (B/L)
Day 7: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel an transfer to WIA/ FB for departure
