Accommodation in Lao PDR is very limited and only offer very basic rooms, especially when you travel out from the major cities. Presently there are few luxury hotels in Laos, but only in Vientiane and LuangPrabang, such as The Grand LuangPrabang, Villa Santi Hotel, Setha Palace Hotel, Lao Plaza and Novotel. Elsewhere, what you will only find standard hotels and guesthouses, the commonly use by travelers, which is very inexpensive by western standards, though traveler often complain that the prices are expensive compare to Laos' neighbors.
